Chryssalenia Koumpouzi is a collaborating post-doctoral researcher with the Computational BioMedicine Lab at FORTH currently working on digital signal processing and analysis for biomedical applications. She received her Ph.D. from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2022, specializing in advanced signal processing for covert communication systems, following a MSc degree in Signal Processing and Communications Systems at the University of Patras. Her research interests focus on the mathematical study, modeling, and development of algorithms for biomedical applications, as well as the use of computational methods to understand complex mechanisms in neuroscience and biological systems. Additionally, she explores the integration of cutting-edge technologies in biomedicine, focusing on technological advancements that contribute to biomedical research and healthcare solutions.
